Arms Control/Disarmament Analyst -- Arms Control Association

Position Opening: Arms Control/Disarmament Analyst The Arms Control Association, based in Washington, DC, is seeking to hire an experienced Arms Control/Disarmament Analyst responsible for research, writing, reporting, media outreach, and policy advocacy on nuclear arms control and disarmament and related security and legislative issues. Areas of responsibility include: U.S. nuclear policy and the nuclear weapons budget; U.S.-Russian nuclear arms control and disarmament; missile defense; cooperative threat reduction programs; and multilateral arms control and disarmament. Position requirements: Candidates should have outstanding written and oral communication skills, excellent organizational skills, at least three years of professional experience in the nuclear nonproliferation and national security field and/or an advanced degree in a related field, and a strong commitment to the Arms Control Association's mission.
