Fall Internship -- House Member Personal Office

Office of Congressman Aaron Schock (R-IL) – Fall Internship (Full-time) The Office of Congressman Aaron Schock (R-IL) seeks unpaid full-time interns in Washington DC for Fall 2014, beginning early/mid-August through December (dates flexible). Part-time applicants will be considered, but applicants with full-time availability will be given preference. Responsibilities include conducting legislative research, attending committee hearings and congressional briefings, leading U.S Capitol tours, managing the front office, and answering phones. Strong verbal and interpersonal skills required. Previous political experience is not required, but candidates should have a general interest in the House of Representatives and current events.
